About the Author

Mary Weber M.D

Mary Weber, M.D., is a board-certified anesthesiologist who has spent decades caring for patients undergoing surgery in Wyoming. Raised in rural Minnesota as one of ten children, she grew up with values rooted in faith, hard work, resilience, and family.

Despite being told that medicine might be too difficult for a naive “country bumpkin,” Dr. Weber pursued her dream of becoming a doctor and went on to build a long career practicing anesthesiology at a Level II trauma center in Wyoming.

Throughout her career, Dr. Weber has stood beside patients and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. With warmth, humility, and quiet honesty, her writing reflects on the courage, heartbreak, humor, and humanity she witnessed both inside and outside the operating room.
This is her first book.
